Concrete is the second most consumed material in the world after water. Its widespread use generates a high quantity of waste, which is generally directed towards road filling. SeRaMCo aims at recycling construction and demolition waste -CDW - to produce new concrete for the production of concrete precast products - CPPs.

Such products have difficulties in entering the market, given the several technical, social and economic issues surrounding recycled CDW. Through a joint cooperation among academia, private companies, public authorities and consultancy, SeRaMCo will provide technically-compliant CPPs ready for commercialization.
